Wear/Care/Ownership
These pieces are meant to be worn.
Not preserved.
Not saved for later.
Not treated like artifacts.
Wear them into your life.
They will change.
That’s the point.
Wash them when they need it.
Not when they don’t.
Cold water is better.
Gentle cycles help.
Air drying slows time down.
But perfection isn’t required.
Fading will happen.
Creases will form.
Edges will soften.
Those marks aren’t damage.
They’re evidence.
If something pulls or stretches or shifts,
it means the garment is doing its job.
Live in it.
Layer it.
Travel with it.
Let it show up in ordinary moments.
Ownership isn’t about keeping something flawless.
It’s about letting it become yours.
When the print softens,
when the fabric breaks in,
when the fit feels familiar,
that’s not the end of the piece.
That’s when it starts.
